Select documentaries produced for the Open Heritage project were  featured as part of the Living the City exhibition, tthat took place place Sept. 25 – Dec. 20, 2020 at the  Berlin-Tempelhof Airport.

Produced by Eutropian’s Levente Polyak and Yilmaz Vurucu, the documentaries provide a detailed look into repurposed or reactivated urban heritage sites from across Europe.

Living the City tells over fifty stories from architecture, art, and city planning projects that reveal processes and possibilities for action in cities across Europe.

We recently received the published exhibition catalogue/book in the mail:  the chapters are based on the themes of Loving, Living, Making, Participation, Learning, Playing, Moving and Dreaming.

Our contribution, titled Financing the Cooperative City, featured our research on community finance and heritage regeneration and was aptly placed within the chapter on participation.

We’re happy to have contributed to this meaningful and significant exhibition and are lookin forwards to following up on the short documentary videos with a feature documentary on regenerated urban heritage sites from across the continent.
