The Neighbourhood Index is the Oslo Architecture Triennale’s catalogue of neighbourhood projects, practices and perspectives. Together these contribute to the Triennale’s mission: creating more sustainable, diverse and thriving neighbourhoods.
In the index you can explore visionary work from architects, planners, urban practitioners, academics, artists and activists from around the world.
All projects shown in the index were sent in through the international Open Call that the Triennale launched in Spring 2022.
Eutropian’s compilation on building civic ecosystems brings together a variety of practices, policies and methodologies within a common framework: the concept of local civic ecosystems, and is featured as part of the Index. You can access the showcase and the Eutropian exhibition here. You can also download the related book “The Power of Civic Ecosystems” here.
