How can placemaking create long-lasting positive impact? How do we counter gentrification and touristification through non-speculative redevelopment of vacant spaces and neighbourhood transformation? 

Back in September, our Levente Polyak, board member of Placemaking Europe, kicked off this year’s Placemaking Week Europe in Rotterdam alongside fellow board member Laska Nenova. Hosted at the community hub Keilepand in West Rotterdam, this event showcased how local initiatives can reshape neighbourhoods and create inclusive models for urban regeneration.

Besides Levente’s role in the Placemaking Europe board, Eutropian has been working with the PME community in the place-led development working group as well as in the InclusiveCity project, helping drive the conversation on long-term impact, inclusiveness, and solidarity.
