Our colleague Daniela Patti participated as an Urban Agenda for the EU expert at the workshop on sustainable tourism in Seville, where members of cities, regions, the European Commission and a number of stakeholders have met to develop an action plan towards environmentally, economically and socially sustainable tourism. Daniela particularly contributed towards the development of actions that may support a balanced growth, therefore counteracting speculation of short term rentals on real estate prices and creating high quality job conditions in the sector through social enterprises.

The discussion was part of the ongoing work of the Urban Agenda for the EU on sustainable tourism promoted by the Europiean Commission. Learn more:  https://www.urbanagenda.urban-initiative.eu/partnerships/sustainable-tourism
