During the Bratislava  workshop, we visited cultural and community initiatives in the Slovak capital that are creating a new scene for the creative sector together with their local communities, such as Cvernovka incubator, Obchodna ulica to be Business Improvement District and the Stara trznica market.

Funding the Coop City: Prague Workshop

In the frame of the Prague workshop, we visited cultural and community initiatives in Prague’s rapidly transforming Holesovice neighborhood, including Jatka78, the Center for Contemporary Arts Prague and  Paralelní Polis, and discussed the modalities of cooperation between citizens and municipalities.

Community Finance Workshop

Communities for co-housing or social enterprises often face difficulty accessing finance, but some succeeded in raising money within the community. The dilemmas seem to focus on creating balance between individual energy and profits, communal needs and returns. Further information available.  

WE MAKE EUROPE: The (Im)Pact of Amsterdam

The workshop in Rotterdam presented cases of emerging community-led real estate development projects from various cities of Europe by bringing together experiences from Lisbon, Berlin, Belgrade, Rome, Budapest and various Dutch cities. Soon the publication will be available!
